Half the fun of Grand Theft Auto has always been the radio, and Rockstar just made sure the Grand Theft Auto VI dial is the loudest it's ever been. On Thursday, the studio pulled back the curtain on the game's first six in-game radio stations, and the host lineup reads like an awards-show seating chart: Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey, Morgan Wallen, Robyn, Burna Boy, Trick Daddy, Trina and Slayer's Kerry King and Tom Araya.

Rockstar promises GTA VI will have the "biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio yet," and fans can already preview all six stations on the game's official website ahead of the November 19 launch.

Every Station Revealed So Far

  • Cocoteo FM: Leonida's home for modern Latin music, hosted by El Martillo (Bad Bunny) and La Gata (RaiNao), with everything from bachata and merengue to dembow and reggaeton. Early tracks include Bad Bunny's "EoO" and Romeo Santos & El Chaval de la Bachata's "Canalla."
  • Back Country Radio: Renegade country from MW (Morgan Wallen) and Delta Dawne (Lana Del Rey). Del Rey's real-life husband, Jeremy Dufrene, plays Mud Dog Mike, the station's roving reporter, swamp meteorologist and Delta's not-so-secret lover. On the playlist: Loretta Lynn's "Don't Come Home A-Drinkin' (With Lovin' On Your Mind)" and Hank Williams Jr. & Waylon Jennings' "The Conversation."
  • AfroBank FM: Burna (Burna Boy) and Palmsy (Palms Trax) spin African music from 20th-century classics to amapiano and 3-step. Look for Asake's "Joha" and Pat Thomas ft. Ebo Taylor's "Gye Wani."
  • The Chamber 106.6: Classic metal from the '80s and beyond with DJ Kerry and DJ Tom (Kerry King and Tom Araya). Black Sabbath's "I," Pantera's "I'm Broken" and, naturally, Slayer's "Raining Blood."
  • Flash FM: The Vice City pop institution returns with Robyn and model Alex Consani. Charli xcx's "Good Ones," MGMT's "Electric Feel" and Zara Larsson & PinkPantheress' "Midnight Sun (Girls Trip)."
  • Dirty South Classics: Trick Daddy and Trina bring regional rap and hip-hop classics, including JT Money ft. Solé's "Who Dat" and DJ Khaled ft. Trick Daddy, Rick Ross & Pitbull's "Born N Raised."

The Stars Are Hyped Too

Lana Del Rey said the gig hits close to home. "One of the coolest things about this is the fact that the first time some of our family got to LA they actually knew the roads because of playing the game," she said. "On so many different levels this is super special and a privilege. Can't wait to get into the game and start playing."

RaiNao is all in on Cocoteo. "Cocoteo gets our vibe, our slang, our taste, our pride, our experiences, our traditions, and all our crazy antics," she said, adding that "Diving around in a stolen car, blasting music with all that adrenaline pumping was THE VIBE."

The Slayer guys are exactly as subtle as you'd hope. Araya called The Chamber "a new metal station for players and fans who like it fast and heavy," while King kept it short: "GTA X Slayer. A true match made in Hell! Let the onslaught begin!"

More Than Just the Car Stereo

The six stations are only the start. Rockstar teased a dial spanning classic rock, modern hip-hop, dance, '80s, electronic, blues, ballads and talk radio. For the first time in the series, players also get on-demand podcasts, and you can keep listening on foot with headphones and your in-game smartphone, so the soundtrack no longer stops when you leave the car.

There's also a separate soundtrack album of 34 original songs made for the game, featuring artists like Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro, Yung Lean and Keith Richards. It drops November 19, the same day Grand Theft Auto VI hits PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
