Ye didn't need a stadium last night. He needed a white room, a giant hill, and a front row full of famous friends.
Yeezy Is Back on the Runway
On Wednesday, Nov. 4, the artist formerly known as Kanye West staged Yeezy Season 01. USA Today reports it was his first runway show since 2022. Simon Says Drip points to his last major presentation: the controversial Season 9 show in Paris in October 2022.
The show took place at Droam 1, Yeezy's new flagship store in Los Angeles. Fashion Times puts the store at 4317 Beverly Boulevard.
A Runway With No Runway
There was no straight catwalk. Complex and PAUSE report that models walked in circles around a big white sculptural mound inside an all-white space. USA Today compared the dome to something out of "Dune."
Fashion Times says the clothes stuck to the Yeezy playbook:
- oversized outerwear and boxy jackets
- second-skin layers, bodysuits and jumpsuits
- stacked pants that pool at the ankle
- a muted palette of cream, white, nude, gray, olive and black, with barely any visible branding
Footwear got serious attention too, according to the outlet, including a tactical-looking Yeezy 800 sneaker and a military-inspired AB-01 Alpha Boot. Rapper Nettspend walked in the show, per Complex.

The Soundtrack Was the Real Drop
For music fans, the headline was the soundtrack. Complex and Fashion Times report the show was set to what appeared to be unreleased Ye music. Clips of the songs spread fast on X overnight, but no official titles have been announced. Complex says the show streamed live on Kick through streamer N3on.
Who Pulled Up
Complex and PAUSE report the guest list included 2 Chainz, Kid Cudi, Big Sean, A$AP Nast, Fear of God founder Jerry Lorenzo, Natalie Nunn, the Clermont Twins and Sab Zada.
Ye's wife, Bianca Censori, sat front row. USA Today says she wore a velvet jumpsuit with a plunging open zipper and matching knee-high boots.
A Rare Family Photo
The moment that ruled the morning-after coverage had nothing to do with the clothes. People reports that Ye posed for photos with all four of the children he shares with Kim Kardashian: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
According to People, 13-year-old North showed up with her signature blue hair, blue contacts and an all-black outfit that matched her dad. USA Today reports her younger siblings wore coordinated earth-tone Yeezy looks.
The Backdrop
The return comes after years of fallout. People notes that Ye was widely criticized for antisemitic comments. In an open letter in The Wall Street Journal earlier this year, he blamed those remarks on bipolar disorder. "I am not a Nazi or an antisemite," he wrote, per People.
What's Next
The next date on Ye's official tour site is a stadium show at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Saturday, Nov. 7. Whether any of last night's new songs make that setlist is anyone's guess.
